I'm a creative, ambitious and motivated individual, with a proven ability to learn and apply new skills, teach difficult concepts, and communicate well with colleagues or students. I always work individually or as part of a team to produce work of the highest standard.

Career History:

  • M-IS February 2008 – February 2009

3D Artist – Pre-visualising Marketing tools and trade exhibition spaces from CAD using 3D Studio Max and rendering in Mental Ray. Currently creating 3D Assets and animation as part of an interactive for the Royal Navy.


  • Bullngate November 2007

3D Artist – 6 days working on an intro shot for a corporate DVD. Incorporating 2D elements into a 3D environment I modelled and animated all 3D elements, as well as lighting and rendering the scene to a tight deadline.

3D Artist – Worked as a freelancer for 2 days on a pitch, modelling, lighting, and texturing electronic components in 3D studio Max for directorial team FAQ.

Part Time Lecturer – Tutored groups in 3D Studio Max for modelling and animation. This course outlined the basics of the use of 3D software for complete novices and showed them how to achieve basic modelling, texturing, lighting and animation.

Digital City Fellow – A grant of £6,000 allowed two others and myself to produce a 7 minute animated film using 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and Premiere.

Part Time Lecturer – I took tutorial groups twice a, teaching the use of Softimage 3.9. Areas covered were modelling texturing and lighting as well as simple animation such as walk cycles.

Intern – I worked as an Intern on my final project for my Msc, which detailed research into the Active Contours or “Snakes” algorithm and its use as a selection tool. I built an application in OpenGL, which could load .TGA files and save out the selection.
